Ile-a-Vache (Cow Island)
Is a small rural island off the
southwest peninsula of Haiti.
There are approximately
15,000 inhabitants on this
isolated island with no roads,
running water, electricity or
telephones.

The housing market is at an all-time high, the price
of fuel is on the rise. This makes it difficult to save
let alone donate to a charity. Yet there are people in this world who have it far worse. That is why we
have come up with idea to raise funds through $1
donations. A simple one dollar donation will not
place any financial burden on the donor yet
thousands upon thousands of $1 donations add
up and can support very worthwhile projects.

We are trying to raise $100,000 for Hope for Haiti, a non-profit organization
focusing on education and development projects in rural Haiti. When we
successfully raise $100,000 the money will be used to build and staff two
schools on the island of Ile-a-Vache in Haiti.

Please make a one dollar donation, there is not a lot you can get with a dollar
anymore. But if we all join together and give one dollar we can give the gift of
education. After you make your one dollar contribution, share our website with
others. The more people who know about Hope for Haiti's project will help us
accomplish more with each and every dollar we raise. Just put one dollar in a
postmarked envelope addressed to Hope for Haiti or make a donation through
Hope for Haiti's website. Thank you for your support!

		$100,000 will allow Hope for Haiti to build and staff two schools.
		$50,000 to $99,999 will allow Hope for Haiti to build and staff one school
		and expand existing schools with the additional money.
		Under $50,000 will allow Hope for Haiti to expand existing schools to
		enroll more students and increase the number of teachers.
